What inspired you to become a hairstylist?

I’ve always been the one to do my family’s hair whether it was covering my mom’s grays or creating an updo for a special event, and so it’s always been something I enjoyed to do.

What are your specialties? (Ex. Haircuts, Color, Extensions, Styling)

Blowouts, especially after a layered cut, as well as any lived in color transformation.

What’s your favorite part about working at Lush Hair Salon?

Everyone is so patient and supportive of each other, you can tell how everyone just wants you to be the best version of yourself, not only for the clients we get to serve, but overall.

What’s a fun fact about you that clients might now know?

A fun fact about me is that I love a road trip, but I hate going through the mountains.

What’s your go-to product or treatment recommendation?

Anything Kérastase. I really enjoy using the Mousse Bouffante for a good voluminous blowout.

What do you love to do you love to do when you’re not behind the chair?

I love spending time with my 2 dogs Emi and Chivo as well as trying new restaurants around Houston.

What’s your favorite trend or hairstyle to create?

Anything that gives volume whether a blowout or a layered cut.

What makes your approach to hair unique?

Taking into account how I see something or interpret something is not the way someone else sees something. So being able to understand and ask questions to come to a decision together.

Do you have any advice for clients looking to maintain their hair at home?

Investing in yourself is important, so being able to understand your hair needs is a good step being able to maintain your hair, whether that be a mask, or a multi purpose leave-in.
