Why Lush Hair Salon?

I joined Lush Hair Salon in June 2025 after visiting the salon during a field trip with my cosmetology academy. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt an instant connection to the atmosphere and the people. I knew it was something special that I wanted to be a part of.

I’ve always been very people-oriented (I truly never meet a stranger!). The relationships and connections i’ve already built here have been so rewarding. I love helping others feel like the best version of themselves. My Mom and Sisters have always inspired me to embrace my femininity and beauty habits, but my personal style is most influenced by the vintage looks of the ‘70s and ‘80s.

What is your role at Lush?

Currently, I work as a Client Coordinator and Stylist Assistant, ensuring things run smoothly and efficiently for our talented stylists as they create hair miracles. It’s exciting and inspiring to watch them bring their artistry to life every day. As I grow in my career, i’m eager to continue learning more about highlighting and coloring techniques.

How has Lush helped you professionally?

Lush has elevated my professional growth and deepened my appreciation for both creativity and organization in this industry. My favorite service to assist with is haircuts. I love seeing each shape develop and come alive.

What treatment would you recommend a guest?

One of my favorite treatments is the Kérastase Première, which revives hair on a chemical level, leaving it noticeably healthier and happier.

What do you do outside of the salon?

Outside of the salon, I love crafting new coffee creations, spending time on my family’s farm, and enjoying the occasional country concert. And yes, clients are always suprised to learn that i’m 6 feet tall (and yes, I did play basketball!).
